From June of 2008 to the show’s final season in 2010, Martin Carrillo Sound Designed at Current TV’s SuperNews!, a series of animated sketch comedy shorts that developed into two full seasons of animated material. The show’s success began with creator, producer, and writer Josh Faure-Brac’s unique talent for predicting controversy, and setting his crew of animators on collision course with the hot button issues in pop-culture, the political sphere and the daily news feed.
SuperNews! featured the talent of Steven K Olson, Lead Animator, who along with Faure-Brac created a consistent look and feel for the cartoon, while managing a team to execute the artistic intent every time.
The Show’s success online, on youtube, and the other various tubes of the internet sat parallel to its success with the network’s fledgling viewership.
Even though no new SuperNews! episodes are being created it continues to excite debate where it’s streamed.
